The TAM Team are Tackling #W2W!

You may remember that in July last year, TAM's James Penny and Daniel Babington joined 20 other riders from across the UK wealth and asset management community to embark on a 270km cycle challenge from London to Paris and raised an incredible £47,000 for charity.

This year, on the 27th of July, James and Daniel will be joined by TAM's Olivia, Francis and James Baxter to tackle a mammoth 360km cycle from Waterloo, London to Waterloo, Belgium, along with 50 other riders with the collective aim of raising an ambitious £60,000 for Waterloo Uncovered - the groundbreaking charity combining a world-class archaeological project on the Waterloo battlefield with expert veteran care and recovery. Each year the charity continues to grow and expand their scope of work, all while using archaeology as their primary tool to improve the wellbeing, education and recovery of veterans and serving personnel, many of whom have experienced mental or physical impacts from their service.

The 360km, 3-day cycle will pass through Dover, Dunkirk, Ypres and Kortrijk before arriving on the Waterloo battlefield, and James Penny is very much looking forward to getting back in the saddle, he said:

“We are still seeing the scars of the pandemic on small charities so it's fantastic to be getting back on the bike with so many others to do our bit to help Waterloo Uncovered, whose work is so critical to veteran support in the UK.”

If you have already donated to the cause then we sincerely thank you for your kind support. If you have not yet donated but would like to help our team reach their ambitious £60,000 fundraising target, you can do so by clicking the link to their fundraising page here.

Every donation is hugely appreciated, and your support will help veterans and serving military personnel as they find peace from war.
