Sophie Weller is TAM’s Head of Operations & HR, bringing over a decade of experience and an in-depth understanding of every operational layer of the business. Since joining TAM in 2012 in a junior operations role, Sophie has grown with the firm, building extensive expertise in systems, processes, workflows, and people management that now ensures the smooth and efficient running of operations within the organisation.
In her role, Sophie leads both Operations and HR, managing key relationships with custodians, IT partners, internal teams, and all staff. She drives operational excellence across the business, blending a structured, systems-focused approach with a natural ability to support and develop people. Her leadership ensures that TAM’s processes, culture, and client service standards work seamlessly together, enabling the firm to operate efficiently, reliably, and sustainably.
Recognised for her calm authority, pragmatic problem-solving, and unwavering reliability, Sophie is central to TAM’s collaborative and high-performing environment, where teams feel supported and processes run smoothly.
Outside of work, Sophie is a devoted mum who enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, especially on seaside trips where she can unwind and recharge.
